in conjunction with the tulare county sheriff’s office of emergency services is to provide for the most effective and efficient use of resources to safeguard human life and hasten the recovery of Lost, injured, or stranded individuals. utilized on mutual aid call-outs throughout the state
Training
As a way to improve individual skills, we provide monthly team trainings in various types of skills. We train in various locations of Tulare, Fresno, and Kern County’s.
Ground Search.
One of the most often used and trained skills is basic ground searching. With the help of a compass, maps, and GPS units we practice skills to help locate individuals and improve our skills.
High Angle Technical Rope Rescue
One of the more difficult and technical skills you can learn is becoming a technical rescuer. We provide the equipment and the knowledge to get you on the road to becoming a more advanced skilled volunteer. Attending our monthly trainings regularly will help you start the process of learning.
